    The Jefferson County assessor is very committed to raising the maximum tax revenue for Jeffco. Honest appraisals aren't a driving force, as one assessor employee stated after an appeals session "we're doing this to raise money, not to tell you what the property would sell for". Be very careful when investing in Jeffco as this is probably the least honest county in Colorado when it comes to fair assessments based on a reasonable value.
